How to reach us

By Train
Pontedera station is located on the railway connecting Pisa and Florence (Firenze). From Pisa the trip takes about 15 min; from Florence it takes about 45 min. Trains run frequently in both directions. See www.ferroviedellostato.it for the timetable.

At the Pontedera railway station take the pedestrian subway and exit in Viale Rinaldo Piaggio, which is on the opposite side of the main exit located at track 1. You get to Viale Rinaldo Piaggio in front of the Piaggio. Turn left and walk past the Polo Sant’Anna Valdera, which is about 300m ahead, on your left. Stop at civic number 32.

By Train from Pisa Airport
The airport terminal is directly linked to Pisa railway central station (Pisa Centrale) and to the line connecting Pisa to Florence. From Pisa airport trains run directly to Pontedera approximately every one hour and take about 20 min. Another option is to reach the Pisa central station by bus (15 min.) or taxi (10 min) and take a train to Pontedera (bound to Florence). From Pisa Central Station trains run to Pontedera more frequently and take about 15 min.

By Train from Florence Airport
Take a taxi or bus (every 30 min) to Florence's main railway station (20 min), named Firenze Santa Maria Novella or Firenze S.M.N., where you will find frequent trains to Pisa and Livorno, stopping in Pontedera after about 45 min.

By car from Pisa or from the Highway A12 Genova-Rosignano Marittimo
If you are on the highway, take the Pisa Centro exit. From Pisa, take the freeway SGC FI-PI-LI (indicated with blue signs, sometismes as "S.G.C. FI-PI-LI") towards Florence (Firenze). Take the second Pontedera exit (the first one is named Pontedera-Ponsacco) and follow the directions towards “Centro” and/or "Museo Piaggio". You will find the Museo Piaggio on your left side after about 5 km. Encrea is in front of the "Museo Piaggio".

By car from Florence or from Highway A1 Milano-Napoli
Exit the highway at Firenze Signa and take the freeway "SGC FI-PI-LI" towards Livorno/Pisa and follow it up to the Pontedera exit; then follow the directions towards “Centro” and/or "Museo Piaggio". You will find the Museo Piaggio on your left side after about 5 km. Encrea is in front of it.
